Poetry Ambassadors celebrates the power of poetry to feed the human soul. Through our blog, we encourage explorations of poems and poets from many lands. Through our press, we collaborate with poets and spoken word artists to put spoken art out into the world.
Bio:
Professor Genevieve Patthey teaches college composition, literature, linguistics, and English as an additional language. As an applied linguist, she also researches academic language learning and writing. She reads and listens to stories and poems from many lands and across many genres, occasionally in her native French or later Spanish. She founded poetryambassadors.org to educate about the use of language as a fine art, cultivate poetic explorations, and amplify creative insights by both old and new poets.
